The curious case of why I disappeared....

EDIT: Yeah, I love sarcasm and if you don't get it...I'd suggest that you move on to another blog.

The curious case of why I disappeared....To be honest, I changed my blog's password when I was with a friend and high on ‘Sula’ mixed with 'Obama knows what' - not a good thing to do, seriously. And then felt that blogging is such a ‘loser’ thing to do, you know, it’s only lonely people who have no friends, no social life - yeah, it's people like these who blog *grins*.

Luck gave me a chance when I was sober and I was able to answer that "Favorite teacher in school" question correctly, so here I am - hoping that Google won't ask me such *tough* questions again.

After that infatuated move to a ****'d up place called Chennai, I'm in a 'better' ****'d up place called Kolkata, life is full circle now!

Let's summarize 2008 - you know, New Year, New thoughts, plans for 2009, a time to reminisce etc etc
  • Atei and I met in March, 2008 . We clicked and 'connected' instantly – yeah reader, it was INSTANT - *Damn, I love folks who use ALL CAPS!* (and BOLD it)
  • I proposed three weeks after meeting her. (My now) MomNomNom-in-law called me to the drawing room and asked, “Why do you want to marry her?” (the MOST unpredictable question I have heard till date) "Ateii hi natinge i neih duh?" Well, it wasn’t the usual “Why should I hire you?" or THAT "How many tennis balls are in this room?" MBA question
  • With the kind of gestures that I made to MomNomNom-in-law, no MomNomNom would hire me.
  • Work/office etc: got a room with a view, as in, no more cubicles – gaak! I hate cubicles!
  • Social life in Kolkata: Robin is here and so is Chhangte. We don’t get to meet much, but they have given me IMMENSE support and helped out a lot when I first moved in to this place. Yeah, these guys have a family and are married. What I mean is, I can’t mingle with "you" bachelors and bachelorettes who are interested in strippers, blogging...you know, stuff'(s)' that "Unmarried people do"…*GRIN*
  • Atei’s miscarriage: The incident hit us hard! To summarize my feelings, all I wanted to do was pick up that kid who’s out there on the street and bring him home (or at times, take/kidnap Robin's daughter or Chhangte's son)
  • 2009 and the years ahead? Haven’t thought about it. Though I do have plans of winning a lottery - Obama tells me "Yes, you Can!"
