Mirror? You mean that bewitched thing that just won't give me back my svelte, gorgeous reflection but that of a lined, rumpled stranger with more love handles than any man could handle? :P
"look at yourself in the mirror" is not correct. You are just seeing an image of yourself, that could change depending on the opacity of glass, refractive index of medium in between (air, water, liquid oyxgen), power of your eyeglasses (6/36, wow!), and thine cerebral senses. Why be so judgemental after all? And what's the harm in a little self-praise?
Lies are like the sugar coating on corn-flakes, little of it doesn't hurt but lots of it could give you diabetes.
btw, I didnot have a mirror in my bathroom for close to a year (as one is supposed to install it himself), so I learnt how to shave without a mirror and the fact that even without a mirror, you can see yourself pretty clearly. And then if you lie still, the risk is completely yours. ;)
